2025 Senior Luncheon - "Oh, The Places You Will Go"
The Ivy Foundation, in partnership with Lambda Omicron Omega Chapter, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., hosted its annual Senior Luncheon on Sunday, March 16th.
Our 2025 scholarship applicants are: Avari Nicole Forbes (Southeast High School); DeMari McClendon(Palmetto High School); Destyne Leverett(Bayshore High School); DiVianna Lee(Booker High School); Faith Williams(Southeast High School); Jolissa Allen(Sarasota High School); Mari Smith(Palmetto HIgh School; MaLeah Lowe(Manatee High School); Marisa Von Bender(Booker High School) and Zorianna Torres(Sarasota High School).

First Friday Fellowship Line Dancing with Mrs. Kiki
March's First Friday event had our members with their "Boots on the Ground" having fun line dancing with Mrs. Nefertiti Watkins-Tate!
Lambda Omicron Omega Celebrates Founders' Day with a Twist
On March 1st, members of Lambda Omicron Omega celebrated Founders' Day painting with a twist! The event was held at Painting With a Twist in Bradenton, FL.
Lambda Omicron Omega Participates in College Tour
On February 17th, The Manasota Pan-Hellenic Council organized a college tour for over 50 students. The students got a chance to visit Florida A&M University (FAMU) and Albany State University. Lambda Omicron Omega sponsored 20 students with members Lucia Callaway and Courtney Spann representing the chapter by serving as Chaperones.
Lambda Omicron Omega Members Goes Red for Heart Health Month
In honor of Heart Health Month, the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. - Lambda Omicron Omega Chapter went Red to raise awareness and prevent heart disease. The members enjoyed an evening of restorative yoga at A Little Twisted Yoga Studio in Palmetto, FL, led by instructor Travis Ray, a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. on Friday, February 7th.
Lambda Omicron Omega Members Celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr in a Major Way
Lambda Omicron Omega members had a busy schedule this weekend honoring the birth and life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
On Friday, January 17th, ΛΟΩ members attended the MLK Banquet at the IMG Academy.
and distributed CHIPP Power Packs to the Palm View K-8 school.
On Saturday, January 18th, ΛΟΩ members participated in the MLK Parade in Palmetto, FL.
On Monday, January 20th, ΛΟΩ members did triple duty on this "Day of Service" by attending the MLK Breakfast at Robert L. Taylor Community Complex in Sarasota, FL.

and participating in a MLK Day of Service Book Bus and Toy Drive hosted by the Second Chance Last Opportunity in MLK Park.
