Father - Daughter Dance
On June 28th, the Ivy Foundation, Inc., in partnership with Lambda Omicron Omega Chapter, hosted its annual Father - Daughter Dance at the Palmetto Boys & Girls Club. We are immensely grateful to everyone in the community who supported this unforgettable event! Your generosity and presence made the event a tremendous success.
All proceeds raised will go directly toward fulfilling the mission of the Ivy Foundation, Inc.® This includes providing scholarship awards to graduating seniors, feeding children through our Childhood Hunger Initiative Power Pack (CHIPP) program, and supporting a variety of other impactful service and community events. Thank you for your support!
Fitness for the Fight Health Event
On June 7th, Lambda Omicron Omega, in partnership with MAMMOLINK and Sarasota Prostate Initiative, Inc., hosted a health fair at Ward Temple AME Church in Bradenton, FL. The vendors provided essential resources and services to our community, and attendees had the opportunity to receive free mammograms and prostate screenings. Special thanks to our partners and community members for your amazing support!

Lambda Omicron Omega Member Receives FAMU NAA Distinguished Alumni Award
Congratulations to our sister, Betty Gibson, on being honored with the FAMU National Alumni Association Distinguished Alumni Award! She was proudly nominated by the Sarasota-Manatee Chapter. The Distinguished Alumni Award Class of 2025 includes thirteen exceptional individuals, each dedicated to excellence, community service, and advocacy for Florida A&M University. This recognition is well-deserved, and our pride is showing!
Fish Fry Friday
The Ivy Foundation, in partnership with Lambda Omicron Omega Chapter, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.®, hosted a fish fry fundraiser on Friday, May 30th. We are deeply grateful to everyone in the community who came out to support us! Your generosity and presence made the event a tremendous success! Every penny raised goes directly toward fulfilling the mission of the Ivy Foundation, Inc. - from providing scholarship awards to graduating seniors to feeding children through our Childhood Hunger Initiative Power Pack (CHIPP) program and supporting a variety of other impactful service and community events.
